Treatment

GD&F has designed the full range of treatment processes, including suspended growth and fixed film systems. Our experience includes aeration and mixing systems, screening and grit removal, clarification, disinfection, membrane bioreactors, effluent filtration and process control systems.

Our treatment work has been recognized by both peers and industry professionals. Among our award-winning projects is a hybrid biological nutrient removal plant upgrade, which was recognized with a Superior Achievement Award by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists.

Collection & Conveyance

Gwin, Dobson & Foreman’s conveyance expertise includes lift stations, interceptor and outfall sewers, and combined sewer overflow control facilities. We have years of practical knowledge in pumping equipment, system applications and control technologies.

GD&F has extensive experience in all types of rehabilitation technologies, such as spray-on linings and cured-in-place systems. We use current diagnostic equipment and design tools to evaluate system flow capacity and to develop sewer rehabilitation strategies.

Residual Solids
